Fayetteville Rat Removal and Rodent Control

The best rat removal company in Fayetteville, NC is Attic Rat, Inc. This is because Attic Rat is not a traditional pest control company or exterminator. They are an animal removal company that specializes in rodent control. Rats and mice are not like insects, but most Fayetteville pest control companies treat rodents like insects - they use poison. Poison is a stupid and even harmful way to treat a rodent infestation. Poison will never kill all the rats, and the process is never-ending, with never ending invoices. Attic Rat does rat removal the correct way, with PERMANENT results in as little as a week. Once you hire them, you'll never have to see them again. See their year 2026 prices below. This is the process:

  1. Inspection of the entire house, in the attic and top to bottom, including roof
  2. Identification of all rat entry holes, and sealing them shut with steel repairs
  3. Trapping and removal of 100% of the rats inside the home or building
  4. Cleanup of rat feces and odor, and repair of rat damage such as chewed wires

Cumberland County, Fayetteville Rat Control Situation:

Found about 3 or 4 of these in my greenhouse. Poop is about 3/4 of an inch long. Some of the others had a white piece of stuff attached to the end but it disintegrated when I tried to move it. I had to wet this a little so you could see it cause it had mold growing on it. Also it did not appear to be completely round. I think it was ever so slightly oval. I've had a rat issue around my home before when I used to have a rabbit, probably the same type that lives underground? Is it true that rats will not stay in places that are open? I was thinking I should leave the greenhouse door open. It's not glass, it's screen with a tin roof. (I staple plastic up in the winter). I live in NE Florida. Thanks in advance for your input. Much appreciated.

Hi David, I have had Exterminators out to my house and they claimed to have closed up any openings in my attic however I am still hearing the noises in my attic. There has also been a raccoon and possums that sit on the fence at night and drive my dogs crazy. I don't think they could be in the attic at night. When the exterminator was here they caught 2 rats in the attic and one outside. I believe there is another one caught outside on the side of the house. I want to know what I can do or how much you charge to take care of the rat problem I am having. I live in La Verne. I would appreciate any help you could give me. I have been dealing with this for a long time.

Fayetteville Rat Control Tip of The Week

How Can I Scare A Rat Away From My Property?
Scaring off rats from your property can seem like a simple task, but you must not forget that these rodents can completely take over a territory they feel safe in; wherever they can get food and shelter, they will stay.
If you want to scare away all rats, you must fix the problem from its roots. This means making a complete inspection to evaluate which are the potential hiding places for them and how many rats there could be on your property. Once you have answers to these questions, you can pick the method that suits your situation the best.

How To Avoid The Presence Of Rats On Your Property?
While there are many reasons why a rat may decide to enter your home, the most common cause of this may be a lack of hygiene; not regularly doing deep cleaning in potentially exposed areas. Another reason these rodents may be attracted to your property is the presence of accumulated garbage or improper food packaging.

Natural Solutions To Keep Rats Away
There are many ways to scare rats away. You can use classic methods, placing rat traps and poison at specific points on your property, or hiring a pest extermination agency. Another option, -and the healthiest one for both the rats and your family-, is based on using natural remedies to scare off rodents.
  • Mint: It has a strong smell, ideal for scaring away rats. You can simply make a mint tea and use it to aromatize different areas of your house, specifically access points to the property.
  • Hot Sauce: Spreading hot sauce in some areas of your home could also keep rats away. However, you should be careful where you apply it in case you have pets or small children.
  • Onion: Placing containers filled with onion pieces in areas of your property can also be a good way to repel rats.
The rats' incredible sense of smell can be your best chance to scare them away from your property. Regardless of the option you choose, it is essential to maintain proper hygiene in every space in your home.
